Lighthouse Event Calendar
fall 2025

Unless otherwise noted, all events will take place at Lighthouse HQ (513 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington).

Lighthouse events are open to youth in grades 5-12, and new faces are ALWAYS welcome!

September 7th from 6:00-7:00 pm – Fall Kickoff

Everyone is invited to help us kick off the new program year with a family BBQ at Lighthouse. Our fantastic Board of Directors will be grilling up burgers and brats with all the fixings, we’ll have a variety of yard games, and top it all off with ice cream sundaes. Plus, we’ll walk through the fall calendar, get annual registration forms filled out, and welcome in some new 5th grade friends! Lighthouse youth, siblings, and parents are all invited to join us as we begin another great year of growing in faith and fun together!

September 14th from 6:30-8:00 pm – Lighthouse Life Night

Lighthouse Life Nights will be offered once a month and will be a mix of games, conversation, and activities centered around a particular topic for each night. This year, we will be walking through the Bible together and highlighting major stories and themes as we explore God’s story of love and redemption for the world.

September 21st from 3:00-5:00 pm – Service Project at the New Port Food Pantry*

The Port Washington Food Pantry is almost ready to move to their new facility! We will be helping them get ready to make this transition by cleaning and preparing several of the spaces in their new building prior to the official move in October. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you can move around in and don’t mind if they get a little dirty/dusty.

*Drop off/pick up at 1777 State Hwy 33 between Port Washington and Saukville

September 28th from 3:00-6:30 pm – Pumpkin Farm and Pumpkin Carving

Looking for an afternoon of fall fun with some friends? Then join us as we travel to Spieker’s Pumpkin Farm where we’ll try and navigate our way through their giant corn maze. Afterwards, we’ll head back to Lighthouse for dinner and end with a pumpkin carving/painting contest. Lighthouse will cover the cost of the activities and dinner, but students may bring along a little money if they wish to purchase additional goodies at the farm. Please RSVP by Friday, Sept. 26th.

October 12th from 6:30-8:00 pm – Lighthouse Life Night

October 19th from 7:00-8:00 pm – Bonfire and Night Games

Come enjoy a fall evening under the stars with a Lighthouse bonfire. Games, s’mores, and other snacks will be provided. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on.

October 25th from 4:00-7:00 pm – Halloween Food Drive and Fun

Help the hungry in our community while enjoying Halloween at the same time! In this “Trick-or-Treat so Others Can Eat” event, students will be sent out in groups during Saukville’s trick-or-treating time to collect donations for the Ozaukee Food Alliance. Then we’ll meet back up to sort the donations, eat dinner, and have some Halloween fun together. Everyone is encouraged to dress up and we’ll have a costume contest as well.

*Drop off/pick up from Ozaukee Food Alliance (100 E. Green Bay St. in Saukville)

Create bite-sized versions of classic dishes or find items that are already on the small side that you can share!

Tuesday, December 2nd from 5:00-8:00 pm – Giving Tuesday Fundraiser

Please mark your calendars and save the date for our big, annual fundraising event! We will once again be holding a spaghetti supper and silent auction fundraiser, and we need your help to make it happen. Lighthouse youth and families can assist with tasks such as requesting auction items, advertising, serving food and cleaning up, and of course, attending the event and showing your support for Lighthouse! Lots more information on this will be coming soon!
