LOVE GOD.

LOVE EACH OTHER.

What is lighthouse?

Lighthouse is a community-oriented youth ministry organization, serving youth in grades 5-12 from Port Washington, Saukville, and the surrounding communities.

We offer a safe and affirming community where all youth are WELCOMED regardless of their religious affiliation or beliefs, EMPOWERED to explore questions of faith and life, and EQUIPPED to serve their community and world.

How do we do this?

  • Service projects and trips

  • Social and fun events

  • Youth-directed enrichment activities

  • Faith exploration opportunities

Check out the Events page to learn more about the exciting things we’ve got coming up and how you can get involved!

Who can participate?

ALL ARE WELCOME!!!

Lighthouse acknowledges and embraces our Christian affiliation. However, we also understand that there are many who have felt excluded, ignored, or even hurt by the Christian church. Lighthouse promises to be a safe and affirming community welcoming all youth regardless of race/ethnicity, social class, gender identity, sexual orientation, or religious beliefs. You do not need to be connected to one of our sponsoring churches—or any church/synagogue/mosque—to participate with Lighthouse. Many of our activities and events are not inherently “religious” in focus, and participation in all activities is entirely voluntary. There is never any membership requirement in order to participate.

If you have additional questions about who we are or what we believe, please feel free to contact the Lighthouse Program Director or any members of the Lighthouse board.
